-----About evomusic-----

- FOUNDED ON PASSION. POWERED BY EXPERIENCE -

EvoMusic is a modern production house, record label, and music distribution company focused on empowering independent singers, songwriters, artists, and labels. EvoMusic provides the tools, expertise, and network to help them expand their reach and advance their careers globally through premium songwriting, production, promotion, management, and distribution services.

EvoMusic was founded in 2010 in the Bronx, New York, by multi-talented music industry veteran Peter Macchia. With more than 30 years of comprehensive experience, Peter has worked with some of the most respected organizations in the industry, including PolyGram Group Distribution, Sony Music, and Universal Music, with experience spanning labels such as Mercury Records, Island/Def Jam, and Sony Legacy.

In his most recent role, Peter oversaw the Universal Music catalog archive, leading large-scale preservation and audio modernization initiatives. He directed the conversion of recordings into advanced immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos, ensuring the highest quality standards and readiness for global digital and international distribution.

Throughout his career, Peter has written and produced music for numerous artists, achieving radio and chart success with the girl group Aria, Travis Finlay, and Kim Sozzi. He has also licensed his music for film, further demonstrating his versatility and industry reach.

EvoMusic was created with the primary focus of combining classic pop and dance songwriting with meaningful lyrics while infusing it with a modern sound. In the words of Peter:    “Seems simple enough, but music has lost so much. There is no reason why we still can't have meaningful songs with today's production values.”

In 2011, EvoMusic was signed to Joe D'Ambrosio Management for songwriting and had the pleasure of performing with American Idol’s Katherine McPhee at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting.

In 2023, EvoMusic partnered with accomplished music industry veteran Paul Raimer, strengthening its foundation and expanding its ability to deliver a wide and distinctive range of music services. Paul brings over three decades of experience with a focus on production, logistics, operations, finance, and music business strategy.

Paul recently served as Vice President of Business Operations & Logistics at The Orchard – Sony Music Entertainment, where he led large-scale operations and distribution initiatives. His impressive résumé includes leadership roles at iconic labels and distributors such as TVT Records, Loud Records, Relativity Records, PolyGram Group Distribution, Motown Records, Warner Music Group, WarnerVision Video, and Atlantic Records.

Paul’s deep operational expertise and industry network play a critical role in EvoMusic’s strategic growth initiatives.

Over the past 16 years, EvoMusic has collaborated closely with artists, working alongside them in songwriting, production, career development, and live showcasing. Through its extensive network of industry relationships, EvoMusic provides access to opportunities that many aspiring artists only dream of.  Many EvoMusic artists have earned multiple placements on nationally recognized platforms such as American Idol and The Voice, with several advancing to top-ranking positions. Additionally, EvoMusic has become a trusted music provider for Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA.

EvoMusic is passionate about researching and implementing the latest tools to support not only the company’s success but also that of its artists and partners. The company operates a fully functional ProTools and Logic studio for mixing, mastering, and multi-track recording.

They encourage artists and label partners to discuss, test, and implement emerging platforms, technologies, and industry innovations in a hands-on and collaborative environment.  However, with the rapid emergence of AI in music, EvoMusic maintains an “artist-first” philosophy, while also understanding the evolving requirements necessary to compete and succeed in today’s global music marketplace.

Today, EvoMusic’s artists and releases span multiple genres, including pop, dance, rock, adult contemporary, Latin, gospel, and hip-hop/rap. While dance music has become a strong vertical for the label, the roster continues to expand as Peter and Paul seek artists and labels that align with their passion and commitment to creating exceptional music.

EvoMusic’s broader strategy is to build a diverse, multi-genre roster with long-term catalog value and increased opportunities for creative collaboration across the EvoMusic ecosystem.

To support this vision, EvoMusic has begun structuring strategic partnerships with key artists — providing them not only the ability to expand the reach of their own releases, but also the opportunity to introduce and develop new artists under their own imprints within the EvoMusic platform.  These partnerships create a scalable pipeline for emerging talent while allowing labels to maintain independent ownership and creative control.

Most recently, EvoMusic formalized partnerships with Travis Finlay and his label VYBWAV Records, as well as Rob Wellz and his label Fortis Sterra Unbounded.
